Our Mission

This foundation was established in memory of Jake Vinyard.   Jake was an avid baseball player and talented drummer.   Jake had a vision of going to Culinary school in the fall of 2014..  #JVStrong has been adopted as our motivational phrase and we simply want to turn our tragedy into a positive for others.   We are a Pay It Forward Organization, who want to help others in need.  The Jake Vinyard Foundation is a Non For Profit 501(c)(3) organization, formally established in 2016.

The Jake Vinyard Foundation is a vocal advocate for those who suffer from depression, PTSD and anxiety.  We support the Isa Kranz Foundation and Run For Randy, locally here in Spring Grove, IL.  We support local and national organizations such as the American Foundation For Suicide Prevention, Chicago Police Memorial Foundation and the Illinois Fire Fighter Peer Support Organization and recently A Soldiers Journey Home
